I had the registration checked at the dealer - indeed it is Brilliant Blue.
i really like it with the clear lights.

currently we have a g350d on order. black inside and out (very boring) and night pack... on the 350d I think it looks quite menacing, and ‘ready for work’ (I drive an excavator so I think it suits) :-)

We are however considering getting a BB 350d and getting it without the night pack and adding the G63 bumper , grill and wing extensions (maybe inner wings if required). These extras come to about the same price as the night pack (£1500) so it’s a fair swap. We don’t want it to look like we are trying to create a G63; but I’m concerned that’s how it will be perceived... and we only ever do slight changes to our cars never bumpers , wings, spoilers, etc.

we like the quiet Diesel engine but Jason loves the G63s grill and bumper.

I’m partial to the olive but he’s not as keen so at least we’ve eliminated that off the list. It’s tricky and I know you guys feel this pain as I’ve seen most ‘new order people’ here having a real debate about internal and external colours- we are not alone !

Don't worry about what others may say - it is yours so make it your own. Besides, there are so few of these on the road no one would ever know; however, I would never put a G63 emblem on my G550!

Thanks Bob!

I may go along with a few mods here and there but I would never Re badge it ... I’d be a very proud G350d owner; that’s for sure !! I’d never try and pretend it was anything other than what it is - a G! :-)

With regards to how few there are about ... I see an old one daily as we have a 1989 in the garage. But in two years I’ve seen two new and one old and that’s it (on the road). In the UK they’re very rare.
