Hi guys. All the calling around dealers for the past 4 months has paid off. I know of a dealer who looks like they will sell at MSRP or pretty close to it if you are serious about pulling the trigger. PM ME if interested in one. Thank You!

Don't think I can PM without posts yet but I've been looking for one near MSRP. Only hitch is that I'm looking for one with a trail package. Hit me up if you have any leads please. Thanks!

I am *strongly* considering walking away from mine. It’s due at the dealership any time in the next few days, shutdowns permitting (landed in LA about 2 weeks ago). It’s an obsidian black, trail package, with light enhanced interior and carbon fiber.

Given how excited I’ve been for the last 9 months, it’s torturing me. Haven’t fully decided which way to go, but figure I’ll need to in the next week or so.

I know not everyone loves the machiato/beige interior, but I think it looks amazing.... which is kinda why I ordered it . My deal is at MSRP....

The market and economy are freaking me out. I ate the loss on my trade about 4 week back, and we’re trapped in our home with one tiny car. We don’t usually drive it, taking the bigger car everywhere (makes no sense, I know) but I’m driving our i3s and, for the short trips to the quarantined store, office where essential etc, it’s fine. If I have to weather some imminent storm - that’s much easier to do without a “large” / mo car payment.

Don’t get me wrong - I *love* the G63, and I’ve been obsessed for many months. I guess I’m moving to “hunker down” mode, and feeling fiscally responsible. Which freaks me out more - I’m the worst “consumer” out there, so If *I’m*pulling back,....

(Again, I feel obliged to qualify, this is beyond a first world problem. I appreciate that I’m in an extremely fortunate position to even be ‘worried’ by this decision)

gotcha. Makes sense! That’s the same reason I got my G. The original buyer backed out because of the virus/economy.

cant you purchase and then if you want or need to sell the G, you can? I’ve been checking online for new G‘s and now dealers are listing at MSRP. So if you decide to sell and you lose a few thousand, it shouldn’t be a huge loss right?

I understand what your thoughts are as my g63 spec comes in 2 months. Perhaps my timing will be better upon arrival, who really knows.

My one personal issue is purchasing a luxury ride in a recession. The two concepts just don’t go together. I planned on this purchase and really want it but I don’t NEED it. I can get it another time but I keep asking myself why not just get it when planned. If things need adjusted, then the G can happily go!

Good luck with your decision and remember that in the end this vehicle is replaceable and materials come and go! Mental sanity is worth much more!

Ive recently felt the same way and the more and more i think about it.... I'm taking delivery and if things go belly up with the economy, the G will be the first thing to go. I think, weather the storm. The fact that we're all on this forum buying a 170+ SUV means you at least have enough liquidity. Selling, Trade, Swap a Lease etc exist for a reason. Enjoy your ****

I'm in the same boat. My build was scheduled just after the shutdown so at least it buys me a little more time. Was scheduled for delivery
first week of May however now likely not until the Summer sometime. My wife wants me to cancel the order now however I think I will wait
given I have no funds tied up in it yet so when finally I take delivery, if things haven't improved, may just sell it at that point. Supply
will be super low with all these shutdowns so can't see it being a difficult sell.

I am still anxious to get my G550 albeit mine will be delayed as well I assume since I doubt the plant will reopen in a few days since supply chains are still fractured. Look on the bright side: gas prices are low!

Same.

Mine has been built but since ports are closed, it is delayed. I am actually relieved it is not heading to me now because I need more time to think about this purchase.

Yes - I found out this morning that my dealership is now closed, so that also gives me more time to think. I still believe that this thing, and the economy at large, has the potential to turn around again extremely quickly. There's just so much that no-one knows at this point...

I believe things can turn around quickly but I think the biggest unknown is how long before that turn around
will happen. If it's a month, then likely can bounce back quick. If it's longer, then who really knows. Every day
that goes by like this, is another day businesses are suffering. I realize we need to get this under control but
wow, the damage being done to the economy right now is serious.

I am an optimist on this as well it's just the unknown of when we can all go back to where we left off. The longer we sit idle, the longer it will take to get our Econ back to where we were. Sure some sectors were very hot and perhaps a bit to hot but we were cooling off. This CV got people in an uproar. We can and will survive this just hopefully sooner than later!

On another note, I just watched an newly uploaded 2020 G63 video that's keeping me excited for mine!

Hi! I'm not quite sure how to PM, but I am looking for one at MSRP. I've found two local/neighboring state dealers who will do MSRP, but one is a June build, while the other is July. Is yours any sooner?

Not lately - below $2 here for gas but Premium 93 octane is about $2.50! There are always winners albeit there are more losers recently.

And at Sam's club, the gap between 87 and 93 octane is just 30 cents! Pulling 93 closer to 2.07 even when all the gas stations in town who charge 60 cents over have theirs at 2.57. I think it's purely psychology, when gas stations add a 89 or 91 octane option, they are able to tier the pricing such that 50-60 cents over for 93 seems reasonable since oh look - it's only 20-30 cents more expensive than 89!

In the past it was always just 10 cents a gallon difference between the grades but when more vehicles started requiring Premium the difference increased, a lot! We really do not want it to go lower though and in reality, for the good of economies it needs to be higher; however, we'll take it for now!

lol u guys. Sorry if it wasn't clear, fuel capacity is what i meant. If it was the end of the world, price would not matter at all. They're not paying for gas in The Walking Dead.
