1000 Mile Break-In Procedure

There is a label on the upper left side of the windscreen saying for 1000 miles, no kickdown, no full throttle only partial and max 85miles or so, and max 4500 rpm.

So far i do what it says, do you think it’s necessary ?
Since the car is brand new, under warranty, if something goes wrong, they will cover it right ?

Google "auto break in" or something similar and you find a lot of opinions on what to do; however, for a short period of time I believe it makes sense to follow the manufacturer's recommendation. And you are correct but if you wind up burning a lot of oil down the road your warranty will not be of help. I have owned a lot of cars and motorcycles over the years and always broke them as per the manuals and never had problems so better safe than sorry, especially for such a short period of time!

I would follow the instructions...they wrote it for a reason.
