Thanks very much. I have plenty of time before my G arrives so no rush on my end, but if someone wants a little more sound out of their G550 make me an offer I cannot refuse and I will gladly hold them.

i am definitely tuning my 2020 g550 when it arrives likely with DME... Does anyone know if that can void warranty??? with my McLaren 720, a tune is a no-no and will void an already very important warranty given parts cost. havent tuned porsche yet.

didnt want to keep the AMG exhaust for a big before switching it ? i have the same set up as what you ordered.
i think the AMG exhaust sounds great - still loud in sport mode but quiet enough to have a conversation when you dont want the exhaust to be intrusive. you should give it a shot before taking it off.

Too late, I already bought a pair of G63 Mufflers/Tips (thanks again Chirag!). I actually just wanted the tips but since I can basically unbolt one and replace with the other it is easier than having the tips cut off and welded on new piping. And I am getting them powder coated Black to match the new wheels that are coming soon.

ah yes makes sense.. the tips do look cool. and i agree, its easier to just switch the whole muffler than to cut and weld those tips.
you should take a video of the AMG pack exhaust vs the real AMG exhaust. i've heard a G63 in real life but didnt have my 550 at the time to compare it side by side. wished i did.

If you remove the secondary cat is the cheapest mod and will hardly make any difference when you drive it in normal mode, but much better sound in sport mode when the valves are open. It won’t be obnoxious.

My G will be here in less than 2 weeks so I will sell the Sport Mufflers for $400, and Black 20" AMG wheels at $3k as well, if my buyer does not come though.
