Lane keeping assist, disabled?

I used to read gripes about the aggressive lane keeping assist on the new Gs. Was it modified or disabled for 2020 or is mine just broken? I have never had my 2020 G63 assist me back in my lane since I have had it for 3 weeks now. I know what it feels like since it is very active in my Range Rover and it happens whenever i'm driving it.

It's present and working on my 2019 and its a real PITA and far too aggressive. First thing I do when I get in is turn it off. Count yourself lucky!

Yeah, I haven't noticed this in my 2020 either. There are a couple of merging lanes (lane lines vanish as two lanes become one) that used to freak out my Range Rover and X7, but the G63.... doesn't seem to care. I've been toying with the idea of deliberately lane drifting to find out what it 'feels like' as there've been so many "It scared me!" posts....

You should try it, when safe of course, to see if it is actually worked (when you are sure it is enabled). It should be easy to do - just take your hands off the wheel and let it slowly drift over with no other cars around and not going too fast!

Ah - do I have to have my hands off the wheel? So it's an "uncommanded drift" vs a "commanded, not signaled" lane change?

Yeah, just let it drift with your hands off, or barely on it, but be SAFE and when know other cars are around.
