2020 AMG G63 Nigh Package HELP!
Can any one assist on this. I don't know if the dealer is lying or what. So i had my PO which had all my options. My VIN number came available today!!!! I noticed the Night Package DC1 was missing from the original PO. I asked the GM he said he'll look into it and just said if it's not available MB will just remove it and build it without it. Is this true?

I just looked at the order guide and did not see DQ4, just DC1, which is the Night Package. Someone is blowing smoke up your butt.

Yeah, just get the options you want and be sure to look at all the color combos so that you get the one you really like, not what someone else says you should get.

No clue what DQ4 is but it does not appear to be a package but an individual option. I posted the 2021 Order Guides in another thread and it is not mentioned in those but it shows 2020 on the sheet you posted, and it is not in those order guides either. Maybe a dealer can chime in? You can also email MB USA and ask.

I posted the 2021 Order Guides in another thread and it is not mentioned in those but it shows 2020 on the sheet you posted, and it is not in those order guides either. Maybe a dealer can chime in? You can also email MB USA and ask.

I meet a similar situation, the dealer shows my spec sheet yesterday and it has the PO number but without the VIN. But the DC1 (AMG night package, added before) was deleted from the option list, but they add the RB4 (spare wheel cover in black) to the list. I ask my dealer and he told me they don't know why the factory deleted the DC1 for my order, but he said they already contact the factory and try to put the DC1 back. Everything happened weird for me

This might be due to the inventory, but I don't know why the factory or MB would do this when you are customizing a $200K vehicle. I contacted MB Customer service, but they still have to get back to me. They are showing the DC1 on mine, but from my dealer it is not. They weren't that helpful on first reply. They said they had to reach out to my dealer. Then i questioned why they would do that and that they should have more information than the dealer and to quit wasting mine and her time. Then she replied stating she shows the DC1 per the VIN, but is getting with production management team on the DQ4 coding.

I just spoke with my dealer. He said the factory remove the night package without informing them. And he can't put the night package back because it's already locked in for production. But luckily, they will reorder one for me by the next available allocation. My current order should be delivered in August, but now it will push back to the end of the year I believe. Hopefully no excuses anymore.

I don't know what to think right now..... If that is not an option code I don't know how MB would not catch this or even allow this.

What options and colors are you picking? I put mine in this past weekend... I'm expecting delivery no earlier than Thanksgiving/Christmas I guess? I'm in no rush anyway.. only bummer is lack of MBUX.. wonder when that'll happen but at least we get wireless charging!

Yeah, I can fix the current order in May and PO# already show up in that time. But I cannot fix the option now, because it’s just locked I believe. Although they will release their new allocation to me and my new order delivery delayed to November or December, but my dealer told me it will be 2021 model and with wireless charging. That’s make me feel better now.

The vehicle is being built as ordered with the correct package, there was incorrect information in one of our systems but has been cleared up.
