What's the original tint on the rear windows?
I just picked up a 2012, MY2013 G63, all of the windows except the front windscreen is tinted quite dark.
I'm looking forward in re tinting the entire car. (lighter tint)

i thought about switching my order to the 12.3” screen.
But I opted for the 10:25” with the newer curved bezel for two reasons:
1. It just seemed a little overwhelming to me. It engulfed the whole space and I didn’t like that. That’s what it looked like to me. The 10.25” just seemed perfect to me. Coming from the stock screen, I think we can all agree the 10.25” is a great upgrade.
2. The 12.3” is fairly new and as with anything might have some quirks they might need to find out or sort out.
I can always upgrade it down the line. But I think am plenty ok with the 10.25 “ for now.
Agreed. The 12.3” is just way too big and will look odd and heavily after market. The 10.25 is the perfect size and the dimensions flushes in with the center console dimensions as if it’s a factory Screen. I also have the 10.25. Love it

its been reliable , sound is crystal clear. It makes Using Waze so easy. Ive had it for 6 months now. Mine is wired but they also have wireless ones.
Negatives are the dongle is supposed to charge your phone as well when plugged in for Apple CarPlay but it barely does. I always leave the house with my phone charged so I don’t really mind.
Also, every rare so often you have to unplug and plug your phone back in for it work.
The manufacturer “AutoKit” releases constant updates for the App and for the dongle For bug fixes and performance enhancement. So I always check for updates and update if there’s one available.

Have you charged your phone using the USB that's in the center console? I tried using it the other day.. Is it suppose to be really slow?
Installed the LED taillights from ijdmtoy today. They look amazing. Installing was a breeze if you follow the instruction. Such beautiful upgrade. Took pics to show before and after. Took video too but don't know how to upload videos (if at all possible). Hopefully I can install the LED fog and reverse lights sometime this week, They are easy to access but little hard to get off because of location of the screws and how rusted they are. But I will figure out a way.

Install is pretty easy.
I tested out a demo for about 20mins at the shop that ordered it for me. Pretty nice interface. Has everything anyone could ever need including CarPlay. Has two preloaded interface: Android and the Mercedes interface.
You can switch between both interface anytime with no compromise to functionality. Its a relatively cheap upgrade that is definitely a must have for the W463.
