Ceramic Coating
I know some other people on here have done this. How has it held up over time?
I'm one year into my ceramic coat and its holding up great. The installer game me some ceramic maintenance spray and told me that if I sprayed it on and buffed it out on some regular basis that it would help to keep the ceramic coating better in tact. I probably do that about once every 5 weeks or so. Not sure if its helping or not but the results / effect are really amazing. Thought for sure it was snake oil but I'm a firm believer at this point and wouldn't get another car without it.

The detailer who did it also does Gtechniq and says both are good. I'll plan to get one of the two on my next vehicle.

Both are doing great
I believe CSL is supposed to last 3 - 5 years depending on maintenance
I find I rarely keep my cars for that long anyway. If I did, I would likely repolish and reapply anyway by the 3 year mark
It's great for providing easier washes (your car is supposed to be glossier and more hydrophobic with a ceramic coating)
You do need to be careful in certain instances. Ceramic coating isn't a force field so people expecting that rocks should magically fly off their car will be sorely disappointed. Ceramic coating is actually more prone to water spotting so if you get nailed by hard water (let's say from a sprinkler system), you'll want to make sure you get that water off your car ASAP particularly with black paint

ill dry some easy solutions like optimums mdr or carpro spotless but if that doesn’t work, i usually will bring it to my local trusted detailer
ive seen him using wheel acid, a heat gun, flat out repolishing, all stuff that i don’t want to attempt myself

This sticker really doesn't look good anywhere, but I saw a G at dinner last night with the sticker on the rear window. To me, it seems like slightly less of an eyesore than on the bumper. I took a pc. What do you guys think?

I have never power washed under my vehicles before, but it's probably not a bad idea.
