2017 G 550, 2018 Jaguar F-Type 400 Sport AWD 'vert
Back to Benz - Got a G 550!
Picked up this CPO 2017 G550 with 2600 miles on it. I was all over the place on what G class to get- considered leasing a 2020 but couldn't bear to pay over MSRP. I paid a premium for this, no doubt but am happy with the decision one week in. This one was never titled until MB sold it to a dealer last December, so original warranty from 12/19 then one year of CPO. It was indoors in their showroom until I picked it up last week. So far, I added Llumar ceramic tint and removed the Designo striped side molding trim inserts. Waiting for black inserts from China. Haven't had an MB since I was here as Silver430 for ML430 and ML350 a decade or more ago.

There was one more like it at Park Place in Dallas, a 2018 with just under 5k miles in silver, but they wouldn't come down from ask at all. Apparently these were MB executive cars from Montvale, NJ.

Thanks- this replaced a heavily-modded Dinan BMW X5 so I came to this with eyes wide open. Received and applied the code to remember last setting (off for me) on the eco stop/start yesterday.
Super low miles... sweet! Good looking rig.
Yes, low mileage G Wagons do command a premium, since the trucks didn't change much over the years (until 2019) the mileage tends to play an overly large factor in the price of the older models. I bought my 2012 in 2017 with only 22,000 miles on it, and probably paid close to an $8,000 premium for a similar one with regular mileage (I was expecting maybe double that mileage). I'm still only around 36,500 miles with my 8 year old truck.
Recommended mods include a lift with springs and shocks, and bigger tires. The truck will ride much smoother and also look more like an off-roader and less like a van.
