After my dealer looked at them. They changed 100% of all gutter and front rubber trim under warranty.
its all good since. Been more than a 1 year since new ones were installed.
I can’t say if its easy to install.
The gutter trim is aluminum as mentioned, The small clips joining the different sections are steel.
Parts painted this color are single stage paint with no clear coat, so are subject to degradation, but not as quick as this, as far as I have seen. This color was the bumper and trim paint on 460 and early 463 before 2000 as well.
