I have had my G about 9 months and I just never warmed up to the idea of performance tires on a truck.
Sure if I lived in Beverly Hills or Miami perhaps but not in Michigan.
I reached out to @Texas E63 after seeing his G and he put me in touch with Jason at GetYourWheels
After lots of back and forth with the various options I had I decided to go all out and get custom wheels.
I ended up having Jason order me some custom Forgestar M7S in Matte Black with the rivets finished in gun metal in 20X10.5 +25
For tires I went with Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 295/55/20
I also got the 911 mount for the rear. I never liked the tire cover, it reminds me of conversion vans from when I was a kid
There was an issue with the fit on the first set (no fault of Jason's) and he got it straightened out for me quickly
I just got them on a few hours ago and love them! The ride is much smoother, there is a bit more of a hum to them but not loud at all.
Now I just need to order the MB stickers to put on the wheels centers

whats the 911 mount for the spare wheel. i really like that. i dont like the cover either. is it easy to mount or do you need modifications?
911 Motorsports mount enables you to mount the tire face out instead of face in like the MB carrier.
I did not install it, my local shop did BUT from what I understand you take old one off and put new one on, uses same holes.
Other members have them and have been very pleased, and so far I am happy
Ride is so much better on the bumpy Michigan roads!
I have heard a few even have changed their shocks, I may do that next!
Has anyone here gotten new shocks if so which?

The Fox adjustable shocks make for the most ride improvement, but the price keeps going up on them, and I thought someone on here said something about them not being available right now. I checked with two of my suppliers and neither had them in stock (not necessarily a surprise since it's not common), and the price has definitely gone up.
Awesome - glad Jason got them sorted, and they look great .........
I'm on the hunt for a replacement for my totalled G now........debating a G55 as I can do a real front bumper on it...
Fox's or Kings are the biggest ride quality change.....bummer to hear they're getting scarce.... Maybe someone here can convince Dylan at Icon to do a setup......
Great looking wheels and love the color of your truck. The Fox 2.0's do work well. For the settings with G63 springs, I found 2-3 clicks off soft in the front and 3-4 clicks off soft in the rear is the sweet spot, depending on how stiff you want the suspension to be and how much stuff/people are loaded in your truck.
