Dealer E-Mails & Dealer Letters Seeking ‘17 G63

Instant email is intended for owners w/‘16-‘18 vintage G63s.
l’ve received numerous emails & letters from my local dealers offering trade-in values for my G, including offers for my G even if I’m not interested in a trade for a new G.
The latest offer was $90,500 and/or trade for new one at MSRP. Too low of an offer in my opinion...
l’ve received such notices/interest (approx three or so per year) the last two years...
Those of you with the years identified supra, are/have you also received such interest from your dealer?

TY/cheers,
B

Of course, the classic “we’ve found a way to get you into a new G63” line. Yeah, it involves trading in the old car and giving them more money. I still get those monthly letters with those trade in numbers even after my G63 was traded in for a 2020 Land Cruiser several months ago. The G63 ended up being bought from the Toyota dealer by the dealer that sends me the letters, so you would think they would know I don’t own it any more...

TY/cheers,

Yes. That’s normal, that’s just how they sucker you into a new car/lease and give them more money. I got those letters also when I had my RR sport. The classic “Someone is interested in your vehicle” line.

Those offers are always below market. I get them a lot for my Cayenne offering me $32 +. What a joke

I have gotten the same offers for my Land Cruiser every year. Seems to be a standard way of generating some business.

2018 G63 Palladium Silver
I have an 18 G63 with just over 15K on it I just had to take in for service A
They approached me said they have been having lots of interested people calling looking for 16-18s and would give me over 100K in trade towards a new 550 or 63
I told them I was not interested and that I bought the 18 because I did not want the new model.
When they started to tell me how great the new one is I kinda snickered and laughed asking if it was so great why do you have people calling looking for the last model.

Yeah, I still get offers like these for my last several vehicles. The dealers must fine that it’s an effective way to get some people to come in and buy something new or they wouldn’t keep doing it. If anything. It just makes me less likely to take any action other than to consider a different dealer next time.

LOL, that’s the perfect response.
