The Pirelli Scorpion ATR 275/50R20 are standard with the trail package unless you deselect the all terrain tire option. I think the Pirelli All Terrain Plus is the new version of the ATR, but I'm not sure if mercedes is putting them on the trail package yet. I don't know a lot about the Nitto Ridge Grapplers, but from what I've read they should be a lot better than the Pirellis off road. They may be noisier and a little stiffer on road though. I believe you can get the Nittos in a 285/50R20 size which is 31.2" overall diameter so they won't rub.

Oddly in the image in the Mercedes literature of the trail package the tyres look identical to Pirelli Plus and look nothing like the standard Pirelli ATR’s which don’t look fit for anything off-road. Now I’m back to square one on tyre choice! It might have to be the Nitto’s?
