Buying a 2009 G550
Hello All,
I am new here and tried to do a search on things I should look out for when I go see my prospective G550, but could not locate any threads.
It is a 2009 G550 4Matic with 80k miles, White on Black Interior. Has upgraded Brabus front end, and aftermarket wheels. What is a fair price point in your guys' opinions?
Should I be concerned about driving it 1200 miles back home? Or would it be wiser to just ship it? Would be all highway straight shot, taking breaks during fuel ups only.
Any and all advise is greatly appreciated!

First step: Get an independent pre purchase inspection. If it has been subjected to winter conditions it is going to have rust somewhere. If it was garaged and lived its life in a warmer dry climate you will probably be OK. But you never know with these trucks. And don't worry about a 1200 mile "straight shot" home; you'll be making a lot of fuel stops. Good luck with your purchase if you decide to move forward.
