What kind of fuel mileage are you getting? I’ve driven my G 63 in the city and it says iI’m getting 12.6 mpg. I’ve only driven it 185 miles so far and I don’t think the dealership filled it completely full.

It's not about the miles per gallon but about the smiles per gallon. Actually my MY '20 is much better than my previous MY '16. Averaging 13.4 around town. Unfortunately no long trips given the current state of the pandemic.

The EPA mpg rating on the G's window sticker provides fair warning to us all. But what I find most annoying is the unpredictable spread between regular and premium fuel prices, and that so many fueling stations have only regular and diesel prices posted. The average spread right now is about 50 cents/gallon, but some stations near where I live are charging as much as 80 cents, all while pricing regular the same as everywhere else. I leave without fueling when I encounter gougers.

I love that, SMILES per gallon. Sure maybe not the most practical/economical vehicle but we can all agree it's worth every bit of it! Oh and I only drive in Sport+ mode

I remember when I was younger the gas spread was .10 between the octane amounts, and it was like that for a LONG time but as more vehicles started requiring Premium the spread increased....it is all about money.

Mine has been decent because I've been religious on keeping it in comfort mode and accelerating slowly during the break-in period. I did push the accelerator once a little deeper than I meant and heard some glorious burbles. I can't wait to unleash sport plus mode.
200 miles in and still have half a tank from the original fill-up haha.

I'm familiar with this app. As you know, Gas Buddy relies on consumer input to report fuel prices at filling stations. Unfortunately the curent crisis is causing many persons to fill the tanks of their performance cars with 85/87 octane, and they have greater concerns other than sharing how much they could have paid for premium grade fuel. So the Gas Buddy data for premium grade fuel is often missing or inaccurate.

I’ve had my new 2019 G mapped up to nearly 800BHP and its giving me a better MPG! Double bonus...
Not enough though to offset the money I spent on the Akrapovic exhaust and mapping!
Enjoy the sound of a petrol engine while it lasts - all electric is coming!!
