Wow that is an amazing ownership. the longest Ive ever held onto a chassis is 15years but we'll see.
So it looks like youre going on an adventure with the purchase of a Sprinter (recently retired?). Im not quite near that yet but I can already see it in the next few years.
Sorry to see you leave the G-wagen club! I am facing a personal end of an era myself. Time marches on and things change whether you want them to your not. I have found that, while difficult, change is usually for the better . I hope you enjoy the new Sprinter!
Saw a lot of these running around New Zealand for rent, great camper especially for that country where you can quickly be out in the boonies. We're planning on renting one for our next trip down there.

Just be wary if you go off road. Mine is a 4X4, but the long wheelbase and chassis, and is very close to the ground. Lowest point is the black tank macerator, and breaking that does not result in anything good.
