Usually steps when ordering?

So I put down my deposit in November

got an email from the dealer that the G was scheduled for production in April

got an email today with VIN saying that the car will be in Baltimore processing center first week of may.

is there any way to validate any of this?

Your dealer is tracking the car. If you want I'm sure they can send you a screenshot of the Netstar report showing your cars status
