Does anyone know how to, or are there any guides, on removing the rubber door trim on the G-class? A picture is posted below showing which piece that I am referring to.
I know people have had there rocker panels painted….regarding moving the rubber. It is (very) tightly slide into rails that hold the rubber.
If I recall, the last person who had this done was charged 4 hours of labor by the paint shop to remove and replace the rubber after the painting was complete.
I have the night package plus option and everything on my G is dark, except these dang rockers…:let me know if you find a simpler solution.

starting at one end using something small like screw driver to push it outwards.
you might wanna clean it first and/or use warm water to soften the rubber.
