Work Shop manual recommendation

Hi guys, I’ve been trying to decide on the best workshop manual to get for a 2014 W463 G63.

I’m in the process of sorting out my own garage build with lift and wanted to get anyones opinion/recommendation on the best manual to go for.

Thanks
Nik

Welcome to the forum,

What kind of work are you preparing to do to the truck?

Found a few shop manuals for your model year, but were all in Russian.

Here's a good site to save for all the parts for your truck.

Microfiche for G63 AMG US model.

There's a wealth of knowledge here and on https://clubgwagen.com/ the latter usually is more technical, geared toward the older trucks.

I'd recommend starting a build thread to keep all of your build inquiries and to act as a build journal, that's what I did. Definitely helps you remember all the work, you've done.

Hope to help you on your journey.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the welcome! I’m looking to be hands on with my G, have always loved this truck and was fortunate enough to be in a position to get one.

I am hands on with most of my rides - Porsche 997 & Range Rover Sport (2012) I prefer the older shape 🙂

I’ve already had the AC all of a sudden switching to hot air during the summer months, good think it was under warranty, dash was removed and lots of parts changed, but the dealership had the truck for over 2 weeks trying to sort out the problem. They were stumped in the beginning as when I dropped her off and they started her up again everything was working normally, always the way.

Thanks for the links, I’ll have a read through those.

Nik
