AAS and ESP Lights
I have a 2012 licensed G350 RHD with error warnings AAS and ESP come on, distronic cruise control canceled and vehicle vibrates.
I have had it in and out of registered Mercedes Dealerships and they are useless, not fixing the problem. They have replaced the YAW sensor and also now replacing the steering angle sensor on the steering column. But wait get this, cant get it booked in for 8 weeks, so have to wait until mid August.
Hope I don't have a limp mode problem in the interim.
So things that have been fixed, Yaw Sensor replaced, Steering wheel angel sensor to be replaced (mid August), wheels balanced and aligned. vibration usually occurs between 80kph and 100kph and AAS warning comes on after 5 seconds of starting the G Wagon and then ESP comes on after 5 minutes of driving.
Any ideas on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.
This is so frustrating.
Thanks
1. Did water or any liquid make its way to the floor in the back by the battery?
2. Your model should have a aux battery under the main battery. Check that as well as the above moisture.
Assume all that was checked by the dealer and I only ask bc my 2011 G55 drowned last week after leaving the sunroof open overnight with no expectation of any rain. Well it rained 5-6 inches overnight and never thought the roof was open the 2x I woke up for just a few seconds. Well you can guess it looked like a pool inside the car and Niagara Falls opening the doors. I have the same codes due to water in the battery area killing many electronics.
My G was finally picked up today a week later to be totaled.

i had same issue after changing #8 ignition coil. I found Xentry didn’t really give me much help other then to say vacuum leak. So upon looking I saw this vacuum and hose disconnected from bottom. Upon reconnecting then clearing all codes issue has been resolved. Hope it helps.
