Tire suggestions

I've just purchased some parts for my G-lift from JackWagon Overlanding (once again I cannot stress enough how great it was dealing with Jack) and now I need some tire suggestions.

I'd like to go with either 275 70R18 or 285 70R18 (I'd like the 285's but I'm not sure if they will fit - I'm going to take it to my tire shop after I have the spring/wheel spacers installed). I ordered 40mm spring spacers and 30mm wheel spacers.

I do a decent amount of overland and winter driving but I also need something that is decent on-road as a majority of the miles driven will be on roads.

Toyo A/T III's have great reviews but I can't find them in 285 70R18. Any ideas on what I should be looking at? Does anyone have similar tires on their G? How do you like them?

Thanks

I have a 3" lift with 31mm spacers. I'm running BFG T/A KO2 275/70R18. They also come in 285/70/18. Not even close to rubbing anything. I'm going to go 35" soon, probably with 50mm spacers.

I ran Toyo At2's on the G63 in 305 - and now 325 AT3's on the G55 - love the ride quality, plus they are one of the few in that sizing that was at least rated over 100mph.
your flares should deal well with at least a 305( they're 23MM narrower then a G63/55 each side) and with the spacers your scrub radius will be fine on the inside/ control arm/rear lower fender edge.

a 305/65/18 is roughly 33.6".... https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...CAT3&tab=Sizes

these are the 325's - with rim at about same offfset at you'll be at with the wheel spacers.... hopefully someone with a 500/550 can weight in....

What is your MPG like relative to the OEM tires? How about noise?

Noise might be up just a tick, but handling is much better with wider stance and bigger footprint ( plus anything other then OEM shocks are a huge factor). My Speedo is off which is something I'll live with and research once I finally get the full 4" lift on her and the larger 34.4" OD tires on.... at 15% that will become more of a need...

Mileage.... ugh - don't even bother to calculate it..... I know on my G63 it was about 1 mpg less with the larger OD setup, but even at 34" the overall weight was less then the stock setup with spacers due to the forged rims...
