Rear Bumper Step/Grip tape option

Rear Bumper Step/Grip tape option
On our rear bumpers there is a skateboard-like grip tape to make it easy to step into the back. Are there aftermarket ideally something made of aluminum that I can replace the grip tape with?

Replaced mine with this. You don't need 20ft of the stuff, but it comes in handy for other applications. Perfect dimension, easy to cut, and better than the stock stuff. Just use some wax/degreaser when you take the old stuff off before applying this and you're good to go.

Thanks! that should work. Someone here made use of rhino liner and painted over the step. I was hoping for something that wont need replacement. I dont mind making holes on the bumper if its a permanent solution

I've had it on for two years, 1 1/2 was spent in rain drenched Seattle. Back in LA now, and it still looks brand new.
It's a wear item, and easy to replace. My only concern with a permanent solution is there's no way to go back. With this, if the grip wears down in 10yrs, you still have a roll of it in the garage to replace it.
