2020 g63 white on red
Baffled completely with squeaky brakes … changed rotors and pads
I just picked up my first ever 2020 g63 white on red . Car is AMAZING however I have not been able to enjoy it for one main reason… REALLY Loud and obnoxious brakes that squealONLY when slow braking . I have tried everything .. had brakes changed … squeaks IDENTICAL. Then spent $3500 on new rotors …. IDENTICAL squeaking … how is this even remotely possible ? I’m thinking about just selling the car because of how bad the noise is when I brake . Can anyone help me ?

There are threads on the other G forum on this topic, and there are TSBs that have sent to dealers regarding brake squeal. You might find some helpful info there. Some owners report that the squeal is not the pad/rotor surface mating, but the way the pads are seated in the calipers.

Can you reference any other forums ? I have searched very very long and can’t find any answers . I’m at my wits end with these brakes .

I would recommend CCB’s. Expensive but if you plan on keeping the truck long term well worth it. Good luck.
