Foglight bulbs: https://www.bevinsee.com/products/be...ight-bulbs-kit

I'll be sure to report back once I have them installed.

Moving on to G63 headlight bezels with the LED strip functioning as DRLs...I'm considering buying some used OE bezels (with no lights) off of eBay, and then buying a pair of these to install in the bezels:

Would anyone happen to know how the wiring would work? Would I need load resistors to avoid flickering or canbus errors?
I wouldn’t use LED bulbs in the stock units bc they will not perform worth anything. Likely perform worse than new HID bulbs of nearly any brand. Color wise will look good but road wise will suck. Same for the fog bulbs.

I don’t get the plan of basic surrounds and then adding the LED strip. Why not buy it as it is already. Actually I even have a set of aftermarket surrounds with LEDs new in the box bc I never put them one once I did the new style LED lights.

honestly I would go the route I went bc it will perform better and look better for not much more.

Your current path cost
LED headlight bulbs $80
LEG fog bulbs $20
Basic surrounds assume $100-200
LED strip $100-200
TOTA $300-500

but that’s all up to you. If you were close to Alabama I would tell you to come pick up my LED headlights and try them out. Mine aren’t installed right now bc I drowned my G back in June last year.

"I wouldn’t use LED bulbs in the stock units bc they will not perform worth anything. Likely perform worse than new HID bulbs of nearly any brand. There are improved xenon bulbs for that... LEDs work great on reflector style light sources (like 2002-2006 halogen based headlights and foglights).

LR3 with the Osram CBB bulbs and a modded lens. The LR3 uses the same E55 Hella projectors as the G/E.

I don’t have a G LED side by side with the LR3 but you can see it’s much like the above.
Thanks for the link! I might go this route. Mine are super tired.

Just to confirm, the W463 OEM HIDs use the Hella E55? If so, I was looking at swapping in the Morimoto RetroQuick E55 projectors. Seems like it would be a welcome upgrade:

looking for the correct anti flicker harness can you point me in in right direction pls?

Any 6-ohm H4 -> H13 resistor harness will work, but it will get very hot. No idea how long they will last. I got a generic H4 -> H13 adapter harness from Amazon and spliced in 12-ohms of load resistors, along with a bunch of heatsinks and small fans to keep it cool. No issues for a few years now.

I can't comment on if any of the 'anti-flicker' or 'canbus error eliminator' units work as I've never tried them.
