So some dude's tweet is documented proof?
Strange times we live in...
P.S. Turbos are in the same place on M157 and M278 - top of the V. I actually own cars with both of those engines and saw for myself

This is false. M157 and M278 turbos are on the sides. You are mistaken, G550 had the M273 NA engine until 2015 when they started using the M176 which has turbos in the V up top.

if you actually have ever turned a wrench in your life and have worked on Mercedes you would know that the m157 is a hunk of 💩 along with the m278 as it’s the same exact motor with a different crank shaft and connecting rods
I have 2 core motors each with bore score at 80 and 100k miles and have changed turbos on a SL550 at 55k miles as well as done timing chains and guides on a 15 g63 at 80k miles. Which later on also suffered turbo failure
drop your Instagram let’s see how Mature you are since you’re the one to judge

No more MB:(
I can confidently say he knows materially more than you do about the w463. He and his father run a repair shop and have explored in every nook and cranny of the G class. He’s young, but that has no bearing on his knowledge. Are you the guy that didn’t know the turbo locations on the 550/63 weren’t the same though you own both? Stop the mudslinging and disparaging comments when you are the one who is grossly misinformed.
