Black Spare Tire Trim Ring | 2012-2018
OK team - looking for an OEM black spare tire trim ring for a 2017 G63 - it appears that a black trim ring only shows as a part number on the 2019+ W463a - is that compatible with the 2013-2018 G63 spare tire - 255/55/19. Give the front covers are different do I really need a 2019 Trim Ring and Front Cover?

My '19 G550 came with 275/50R20 mounted tires and a mismatched brand 265/50R20 spare, because the spare tire cover won't fit a 275/50R20. Here are the dimensions for each of these tire sizes:
275/50R20 - diameter = 30.8" / width = 10.8"
265/50R20 - diameter = 30.4" / width = 10.4"
255/55R19 - diameter = 30.0" / width = 10.0"
So it seems as if the 2019+ tire ring and face will be large enough for your 255/55R19 spare tire, but you'll want to check to ensure it's not excessively large. As you know, the ring clamp has some adjustment range to it, and my guess is 0.4" difference should work. But try before buy is my recommendation -- know anyone with a '19+ that might help you out with a trial fit?
