@Texas E63 How long did you have the 34's on? When I mounted the 34s, distronic worked for a little bit, then got intermittent then stopped working altogether. Likewise, when I went down to 33"s, distronic did not work right away, but after a few hundred miles, it started working again. My guess is that the car has a 'buffer' / staging area where it collects wheel speed sensor data and determines if actuals versus observed values are within tolerance, and then enables or disables distronic.
This is entirely my own hypothesis, I have no facts to back this up so YMMV!

I ran them and a set of 35/12.5/20's - had each for about 4-6k on the 63 before it was totalled out. It was tuned with Eurocharged E85 tune at the time we did the rims/tires, so they might have coded out via STAR or solved for that without telling me .....

When you say it didn't work, what exactly did it do? Was there a light on the dash or did it just give you some kind of error when you tried to activate it? Did cruise control not work at all, or was it just the "adaptive" part that didn't work?

Both passive cruise control as well as adaptive cruise control simply did not activate. "distronic plus inoperative" error message on console when I tried to activate each time.
