2018 W463 G Wagon
Would 22” alloys from a 2019 G63 fit 2017 G350D?

I have just bought a 2017 G350d Wagon in the uk. It has the 19” AMG alloys which I think look too small for the wheel arches. I have seen 22” G63 alloys off a 2019 Wagon. Just wondering if they will fit my vehicle or will I have fitment issues? Thank you.

Congrats on the new truck -

The 22's may fit but the ride will be brutal between extra weight and no sidewall for such a heavy rig.... 20's IMHO are the max for a DD, and even then moving up a size or five improves ride and handling ( wider really helps)....

Pics of the G ?

That is really good advise. Classic argument of form vs function. Function wins out. I’ve attached a pic of the Wagon (and the Defender I sold to buy it).

Love the Defender !

Here is my old 63 on 40mm Spring spacers and custom 20" rims ( 20x10.5 et25) and 305's. The rims were rugged and light enough to offset the extra tire...

Gorgeous! welcome to the forum. I too vote for thicker sidewall/beefy tires to fill the wheel well instead of bigger rims and rubber band tires. 275x60x19 should easily fit in stock suspension and look great.

tha k you for responding. I have 275/55/19 tyres. And to be honest the more I look at the alloys and wheels the more I like them.

The one issue I ran into that drove my decision to get custom 20's in part was the lack of tire options in 19".... it's triple in 20", especially as you look to get some more width or larger OD.

It's been awhile since I did it, so I can't recall if there is a clearance issue with the brake calipers on the W463 running W463A wheels, or if it was the other way around. The inner clearance of the wheel is slightly difference between the model years, but I can't recall which one might have issues. I know that isn't much help, but it is likely the only issue you might encounter in terms of fitment.
