2014 G550
Battery Coding
I replaced the battery on my 2014 G550. Does the new battery (not a MB OEM) need to be coded?

I replaced the OE battery in my '19 G550 a year ago with an identical (size and AHr) non OE battery. AFAIK, there is no coding or registration required on MBs, unlike BMWs.
