G550 door adjustment
Hey everyone!

My driver door isn’t closing as well as the others. It seems to hit the stiker (latch) on the door jamb in a crooked way.

i am trying to adjust it but can’t figure out what tool to use on the bottom bolt…. I’ve tried all I have… nothing seems to fit exactly

anyone know this?

That bottom bolt is probably a Torx head, not a standard hex. Car manufacturers love using them for door strikers and hinges.

Try looking for a Torx bit, likely a T50 or T55 size. Check your socket set for star-shaped bits, or you might need to pick up a set from an auto parts store.

My '19 G550 is assembled with the top 2 bolts 5mm hex and the bottom bolt 7mm hex.

so i went to the store today and bought BOTH a T45 torx AND a 7mm Hex. - both fit.

ended up using the 7mm to unscrew as it was sitting quite tight

driver door now works well! Thanks again!
