They ask me to pay $50K I declined, let another sucker get it, this will make this car close to $500K with all taxes and everything, it has no engine mods, you are basically paying over $200K for a lift kit and some carbon fiber from Mercedes.
Hello!!! I need help!! I want to order a 2023 E53 AMG Convertible HOWEVER i do not want to do so because the AMERICAN rear bumper looks like ****. Picture attached. I want to the European bumper. Please advise on how I can finagle this!! Thank you!!!

Always comparing the prices of cars in the US, they were much cheaper than in Europe (probably mainly due to taxes). Comparing the regular G63, which, as you say in the US, starts at $150K, in Poland it starts at around $210K (counting already such a high USD exchange rate). Since my 4x4 cost 320k€, I was convinced that in the US it would be in the 200-250k$ range. I guess they really want to rob the customers too much.

You can take the pumper off and remove them from inside, they are attached with screwers from inside the pumper, but unfortunately, you will have to get this area fixed to cover the holes and repainted.
I know of several at $100k & $150k over. One of my dealers charged $220k over for their slot. Secondary market will be nuts on these given the limited availability.

I think quite the opposite. The MSRP is bloated to begin with and as someone mentioned above, just the addition of some CF and portal axles doesn't justify such a hike. Add on top of that luxury/and or gas guzzler tax (for example in my province I'll have pay close to 30%). Just MSRP and luxury tax takes this to over half a million in CAD... then add in these ridiculous ADM's you're referencing andddd finally adding whatever profit the flipper will most certainly tack on will push the price into nonsensical territory.
We're looking at close to a million CAD...I duno about other members but at that insane price Id rather have the current GT BS, the SLS BS or hell a fleet of "normal" G63's.
My understanding is the original buyer is on the hook for the first year if a car gets exported? So if a car is flipped and the second buyer exports than the original buyer is the one who gets blacklisted.
Maybe it’s my dealer trying to keep me honest but if I’m selling under a year it’s back to a Benz dealer.

Even if you sell back to a Benz dealer that dealer can export and you and your original dealer get dinged. And it is not just a black listing. Paperwork clearly states dealer and MB are entitled to financial restitution if the car is exported. Essentially the only safe place to trade it back in is the original selling dealer or have the buyer sign a non export agreement indemnifying you from all potential financial claims by MB and the original dealer.

@Hodog16 not just your dealer trying to keep you honest. Had it happen recently to a buddy of mine that sold a 2014 many years ago, and they found out it got exported. He had actually traded back in to a dealer (not original purchasing dealer), and it got exported. He tried ordering a new car recently and found out he's blacklisted now, and nothing he can do about it.
I think @haa has it right. Trade back to the dealer you bought from, or make new buyer sign non-export agreement. Of course, you have almost no recourse against them if they do, and their name isn't going to be blacklisted, so not sure it would be worth the paper it is printed on.
The dealer just called me the 4x4 just got released, in a week they will be hitting the dealers.

I was also trying to match my G63 which is night black magno but ended up having to pick a different color. Settled on arabian grey. Will definitely cost more than what I paid for my 765LT haha.

Mercedes does that with some order sheets for some reason if printed before the MSRP is released.
My regular 2023 G63 order sheet has a similar price listed in the $7MM range and also lists options (carbon fiber, etc) with prices even though the order guide says they are no charge this year.
