Yeah. No one is writing cheques for 100k. A buyback or forced buyback seems like an option,
I did this once with a GT350.

They paid for everything thing I paid for the car Taxes, Wheels and tires, Prepaid maintenance, Accessories that I purchased from the dealer ( I bought S65 lower turbo intake grille ), paid the Tint, a whole stealth wrap, and ceramic coating.
But I can tell you it wasn't an easy ride; the car was up on the lift for almost 2 months, and engineers from Germany was working on it. Less prorated milage. But gave it back as a credit towards the new car. It was a hell of an experience dealing with a customer care that doesn't really care.

My dealer wants me to immediately trade in my 2021 G63, however can’t give me a clear date on when the new 4x4 will be repaired and released for sale.
letting go of the current G without any firm commitment of when the new truck would be available leaves me feeling concerned..

Was anything official from Mercedes shared with you, or just verbally from the dealer?

Nothing official from Mercedes, only from my dealer

I would think Bill Radar? or other places that do conversions have to have their phone ringing off the hook. I think they should have did very specific color ways or even an interior to match the exterior toughness. Sort of half done rather than a Brabus deal that is done front to back.
Dropping $500k and having issues has to suck no matter what your position in life is.
I am also in the minority that I Like 2018 and down vs the newer model.
Anybody build a real off-road Cullinan?

Update (unfortunate update).
From Mercedes Benz.
4x4 will not be ready to be released until LATE Q2!!!
Crazy.
I’m losing interest in this thing….

Is “LOL” appropriate yet? Like one of those “omg I give up” kind of LOLs? This is absurd. And of course the compensation that they will ultimately offer won’t approach fair, given the markups on these things.
Might I suggest everyone looking at one of these go buy an original, which is better looking and way more aggro?? At least in my humble “axle hasn’t cracked on my 2017” opinion.

Heard from a reliable source that Mercedes will start contacting 4x4 owners and offering them $10K credit to go toward the purchase of their next Mercedes vehicle. That's basically a slap in the face.

My build date is pushed from April to July. I think it'll likely get pushed again.
Also, this video hasn't aged well:

Another question - any of you cats order larger or more aggressive tires yet? Not wheels, but tires?

Did anyone else receive their letter from MB USA about this? Got min yesterday, already contacted my dealer as to my next step.
Basically offering apologies and to speak to dealer about what can be done. There is a 10k incentive for new vehicle purchase. The options are to receive a loaner vehicle, assistance moving into a different car, or even a repurchase/buyback.
