No facelift for 2024. Told you @DaffiDuck

If someone orders Sun Yellow for the G 63 make sure to tag me when you receive it - would love to see pictures.

Thanks for info. Will be interesting to see if they continue to hold prices. I would imagine so.

I would be willing to get sun yellow if I didn’t fear it tanking resale value! I like colorful G’s.

Dang it. Now you got me thinking lol.

I wonder if it’ll be popular just because then people will know you have a 2024 and not a 2019. Who knows.

This is really helpful, thanks for sharing.

At a glance it isn’t immediately obvious what the major additions are? Did the nav screen get upgraded to touch for instance?

To be clear, I see the, ‘what’s new’ section but is that literally all there is?

Scroll down to the What's New section on page 4 to see the changes.
Not anything major, and no infotainment upgrades.

All hail the V8! Used to care about little things like MBUX... but to me everything is now secondary to keeping just the pure ICE V8 setup alive without mild hybrid/hybrid/electric nonsense.

Is it the same as the NY Cab color or am I mistaken?

Hmmm a huge disclaimer there: https://media.mbusa.com/releases/rel...c8e34dc0120525

I wonder how will MBUSA mess up the Grand Edition when it does come to USA, any guesses?
I mean, they messed up the E 63 S Final Edition by having less options and for a higher sticker price than the non-FE.

Looks similar to Edition 1 with gold accents and also similar to the G65 final edition in 2018. This will probably be the final G63 edition prior to the 2025 refresh. I would expect a short 2024 production cycle.

So, are we thinking the 2024 model year is the last of the V8 for the US market?

Most likely $230,000 in the US similar to the Greenhell Magno limited edition

Not the last V8 but the last of the current generation V8 before the refresh. I would speculate that the refreshed G-Class AMG will have a V8 that incorporates some hybrid technology to increase fuel effciency and decrease CO2 footprint. I speculate the less powerful non AMG model will probably be a V6 hybrid and then there will be the all electric version.

Yeah putting it all together with a Final Edition for the G500 (G550 overseas) and now this Grand Edition for the G63, it's a good bet that 2025 sees both the EQG and the V8 hybrid for the AMG with a facelift and maybe MBUX. Hard to believe they would do a V6 in the G in the US but who knows.

Ya I mean the R232 SL gets a V8, the G-wagen being pretty much in its out class (no real competitors) they can't mess this one up and put anything lesser than a V8.

Im confused.. all the spy shots and news articles showed that the 2024 model was to be facelifted.. As per your 2024 order guide we see it wasnt. Any thoughts on this? Perhaps as a 2025 model. I was in line for a 2024 but if its no different from the original 2019 styling I will hold off for now.. I was also considering the EQG AMG version but I read with the batteries it will be even heavier than the gas model, around 7000lbs or something crazy like that. I decided to remove myself from the ordering spot for the fact that heavy cars handle very poorly and the ride is very rough.. I know the G wagon is already a heavy vehicle but I dont want an electric version to be worse than the gas in the way it rides regardless of the improved power delivery..
