Thanks for the link to get an idea on colors--not much changed other than the blue shades they've already let us know about.
The UK and other countries have always been more expensive than the US using the exchange rate, and formerly Canada was cheaper although I think they have increased Canada's to be more in line with the US pricing.
Also, worth keeping in mind in a lot of other countries the price shown includes tax (I know this is true for Germany where the 19% MwSt is included in the price shown). The UK configurator lists it as an ‘out the door’ price, so I’m guessing their VAT is included, too.
German configurator shows much more stuff than the UK one. It also allows for black running boards with regular night package. There's even a package to black out the button to open the doors!
Some rough option estimates based on Euro converter:
-Carbon fiber package $10,000
-Off-road package pro $17,500
-Performance package $13,000
The last one comes with the updated suspension, gold 22 cross-spoke rims, increased top speed, and what sounds like a form of launch control.
There's updated 20" and 22" rims and the 21 and 22 options from before carry-over. It'll be a hard choice between the gold rims, monoblocks, and the new 22" options.

I don't see interior upholstery yacht blue or exterior color China Blue (though vintage blue looks similar) as options on the UK configurator. Does this mean they will not be available in the US?
Thanks to Hodog16’s excellent mention, spent some time playing around with the DE configurator looking at various colors, wheels, packages, etc.
Beyond what Hodog16 mentioned, two other options stood out. In Germany, AMG Active Ride Control as a standalone option is 4.522,00 € and the newly offered Manufaktur Full Leather Package is 19.040,00 € (ouch). It will be really interesting to see how U.S. pricing compares.
From the various YouTube videos I’ve seen, looks like the new G63 trail package tires are Generals now instead of Pirelli. Curious what the 18” on G550 will offer (though it seems none of the OEM options will be proper A/T tires)
I don’t think the car can have head up because there’s no room for the projector?
Indeed, the headliner, pillars, sun visors, and seat backrest trim are all leather. The headliner’s center panel has the diamond design, too. Below is a screen grab from the DE configurator with browser-based translation turned on as my German is lousy. 🙂

I wonder if the touchscreen/MBUX can be retrofitted? The dimensions look exactly the same. Even if it was at a ridiculous cost (say $20k+), it would still be nowhere near the price rises + you get to keep the old unelectrified V8 beast we all love. I'd happily do it because the current Comand system is simply not enough in todays world
it will be possible by the end of the year or start of next year just like how its possible on a 2017 E class. But for way less than 20k lol. You could buy a car for that money lol. an E 2017 with command can be converted to MBUX for around 6k USD im guessing so yeah. Just like how it was possible for 2014 S class owners to install the 2018 command screen.
