Any dealer with inventory is likely asking too much.
Resale-wise it's carbon fiber then everything else. I guess the black ash wood trim would be second? Metal weave gets a carbon-like look for free but it's not as desired for whatever reason. It is extremely rare to see light brown zen wood, and I can't remember if I've ever seen a car with brown ash trim.
I've spec'd black ash wood trim and carbon fiber, and have had one with piano black. I actually prefer the black ash wood trim above carbon fiber, but I get the carbon fiber's appeal. I just think $3700 is a lot to pay for just trim which I know sounds odd buying a G63.

My take is that all the people who wanted a new '24 have either purchased one or are otherwise on the fence between a '24 or a '25. As for why the few units sitting at dealerships aren't moving, it's because the dealers understand of the current market better than us and refuse to lower the ADM. I spoke with my SR because I am waiting for a '25 for my wife. He told me at this time that they don't even know what the MSRP will be for a '25 G63, but said "off the record" he's anticipating somewhere between $205k to $225k base - without any options. As for the ADM, he's anticipating a barest minimum of $50k but said 6 figures is much more likely. Please note that I live in SoCal where ADM is a way of life, so please no comments from those of you on how you were able to get yours at MSRP (probably because you happen to live in a country/state/county that limits or otherwise prohibits ADMs on new vehicles sold by dealerships).
Going back, the dealers know that once the MSRP is released (plus the applicable ADM) for the '25s, the '24 models will be a HUGE bargain even with its current ADM. The Px difference, based on my estimation, will be well over $50k. This is why dealers are not budging on the '24's price right now and there appears to be inventory. My take is that this is artificial and will be short lived.
In summary, I think it's way too early/soon to try to examine where the used-car market is for the '23's and '24's simply because the main moving part, which is the MSRP for the '25's, remain undetermined.
Besides, isn't BAT historically regarded as a medium for sellers of last resort?

Five more no-sales in the last month on BAT alone. Flippers who were caught by the market turning lower? It appears that game is over.

Sorry #Shahul.Usman@MBofRichmond, but I unfortunately have to agree with #tonygwagon. Red leather interior can be a polarizing color. To each his own, but I'm a plain guy and opted for my '24 the "Exclusive Interior Package" with black diamond leather seats. For me personally, red leather goes extremely well only with classic convertibles from the '50s/'60s, such as the 190SL or the Austin Healey MK. For whatever reason, most of the newer G's I see in my area have the red leather interior, which I'm guessing may be a fad but may eventually affect their resale value.
Potential buyers may be waiting for the final pricing of the '25 to be released, which I'm guessing they will be in for a sticker shock once options and ADMs are tabulated. #Shahul.Usman@MBofRichmond, you are asking for an extremely fair price for a solid car and configuration (the red leather aside
, but that's just a "me thing"). I would just be patient and wait it out. I'm sure the right buyer will come along. Good luck in your sale!

I think red's fine for an interior color, having had two of them (although I don't recommend red on red any more--I was able to do fine with that because it was peak market).
Probably what hurts more is the car is 2 model years old and has almost 15,000 miles.
The manager at my dealer told me there are two sets of buyers of G63's. One set wants only new but is willing to take like new if it means they can have it today. They are willing to pay to play.
Once a car gets a few model years old or has over 10,000 miles, those buyers aren't interested, so you move into another set of buyers who want to pay less.
Based on how quickly they told my last two trades for $10-15k over sticker, I believe this theory.

I'm in agreement that the market is cooling, but it's always useful to factor in the buyer's premium for auctions. For BaT it's 5% or $7500 max. Puts it at just under $190k. Still feels like a pretty good deal!

This G Wagon actually sold for less than you think
After reading the auction details, the buyer is from Arizona and pays zero sales tax on private party sales so he saves $15,652 on the purchase.
He definitely had a competitive advantage in the auction and I'm sure his wife is going to love the vehicle.
