Picked up the G63 last week!

I finally picked up my first MB last week. I have wanted to own a G wagon for 20 years, and I am excited to own one finally.

I ended up pulling the trigger for the 2024 model instead of waiting for the 2025 facelift model, mainly because Kym Chu from MB of Pleasanton was able to give me a killer deal. I highly recommend contacting him because he’s professional and patient when dealing with my inquiries. For example, after I had hackled the ADM with him for a car in his showroom, I changed my mind and gave him the tough task of transferring the color combo I liked from another dealership. He can accomplish that and has been communicative during the entire process.

So far, in my 1-week of ownership, I enjoy the car a lot. The exterior is masculine, yet the interior is comfortable. The only issue I found while driving is the glare from the windshield. I am looking forward to any suggestions to avoid the glare.

Thank you, and I am excited to be part of the MB and Gwagon family!

Congrats.
Same here, new owner of '24 as well.

You are correct there is glare from the windshield. I do have windshield exo-shield protection I wondered it was due to that

Five years ago I noticed the glare for about a week, haven't really noticed it since. Arabian Gray with Red was on my shortlist of color combos, I think it looks great. Congrats.

Congrats! I was the same--wanted a Gwagen ever since 2003.

Love the spec. I'm fairly certain I'll end up making my 2025 like that unless I get brave enough to get a magno color.

Thanks for the kind words. The color combo was a combination of my gf's favorite exterior and my favorite red color.

I was torn getting a 2024 model vs a 2025 model. However, I had concerns with the longivity of the battery due to the hybrid system, therefore, I ended up getting the 2024 first.

I too picked mine up over this past week. Mine is in Magno Black exterior with black interior, along with the night package (think of a G63 Batmobile for Batman...). I had deliberated about waiting for the 2025 model, but decided to pull the trigger on the 2024 model since this will be the final year of the true V8-Biturbo engine. I have a group of close friends who are all hardcore car enthusiasts (and execs at MB corporate) whom had collectively advised me that the 2024 will hold its value (if not appreciate) better as the upcoming 2025 G63, which will be hybrid assisted even with a V8. They tell me the 2024 models will soon become a collectible as the last of its breed, whereas the 2025 models will apparently become less desirable.

Congratulations on your purchase. The exterior and interior of your selection are a beautiful combination.

I almost got the same color combo that you got from another dealership, but I ended up decided to get AG with red interior. How do you like yours so far?

I've only literally had it for a week. It's an oasis every time I climb into it. It sounds counter intuitive given that I live in SoCal where traffic can be bumper-to-bumper, but driving it is somehow very calming and soothing for me. Perhaps it's attributable to the height of the driver's natural seating position which allows you to see everything around you? I am, however, driving like a grandmother while waiting to break in the engine for the first 1k miles. In short, I absolutely love it. I ended up paying $20k over MSRP ($20k + $209k), not including taxes and other packages I purchased from the dealer.

Your AG with red interior is a great combination as well. It's an instant classic combination. How do you like ownership thus far?

Polarized sunglasses solve the glare issue pretty much completely.
