Finally upgraded my 2020 G63 Stereo!
It took me a while to find the right guy but I found an installer with the passion and expertise. Replaced all speakers up front with 3 way Audiofrog components (GB60, GB40, GB10), Helix V 12 (DSP/12 Channel Amp), Helix M One X (sub amp), custom built enclosure which houses the Navtv Zen interface, both amps and a 10" JL TW3 subwoofer. Replaced the center speaker where sunglasses normally go with the Director remote to tweak settings, profiles and levels easily. Doesn't intrude into cargo space and looks clean. He used alcantara to wrap it so it looks factory. This sounds 10x better than the stock stereo.

Looks amazing! Does the sub have a grill cover? Would love to hear the cost and who did the install. Been looking for someone in the bay area to upgrade the system but reluctant to make the change and mess with the factory setup. But the factory setup is pretty muddy.
Assume oem controls are all functional? Can you tune bass/mid/trebble vie the interface or is there an EQ in there somewhere?
Congrats

Sorry for the delay. Yes, I'm going to add a sub grill cover. Ryan from Oxaudio outside of Philly did the install. He made custom front door speaker mounts to them installed properly. You can control quite a bit with the director.

Here are some pics. I didn't take one of the director location but I will later and will upload.
Crap factory speaker on left replaced with AudioFrog GB60's on front lower doors.
12 Channel DPS/AMP and NavTV Interface installed behind factory sub location.
You can see the 12 channel amp and NavTV interface installed behind the sub.
Custom speaker mounting brackets.

Hi,
So he just swap out the speakers? Does he sound treat the door? Does he run new wire or use factory wire?
The factory location for midrange is so low in this car, after upgrade, what is the height of soundstage?
What is your satisfaction level after this? Anything you would have change? I have same car, thinking doing same thing with exact same equipments. thanks you.

I'm not sure as I wasn't there when he installed them. I would guess they would. I can tell you my installer said that was the hardest part. He had to take apart the dash and replace the tweeters from the bottom side.

Did you check to make sure that the emergency response system still works? The center channel speaker is a dual voice coil - one of which comes directly from the emergency response system. If that speaker was completely removed, then you lose the ability to hear what is being said.
Also, it looks like he cut the amplifier harness which wasn't necessary because Audiotec Fischer makes a harness to attach to the Burmester system to prevent having to cut the harness if anyone is thinking about doing an upgrade.
