Anyone else getting theirs released? Mine arrived the first week of March but still hasn't been released.

 

We are in a similar position. Our vehicle arrived March 11. Dealer has said they’ve had one released so far but no update on ours. Things happen and we are excited to get it. At the same time, as first time Mercedes customers, the lack of *any* information or contact is a bit confusing. We’re willing to purchase a premium product and be patient, but just don’t feel any support really.

 

Wow! Ours arrived in early April and we are hoping to get it released this week. Guess based in this information we will have to wait until next month.

 

Hey guys, I'm sure you already know but they have been released from the VPC. I have one for sale in Maine, brand new ready for delivery today. From a dealer, if your interested let me now and I can send some pictures.

 

Just an update for those waiting, mine arrived to port the first week of March and I just got word that it's been released. Should arrive at the dealership sometime next week.

Forgot to mention this.
When I picked up my G63 last week I was asking the salesperson, whom I know personally, if they had any indication of what the hold up was and she confirmed my suspicion that these vehicles were waiting for an electronics component.

Didn’t know exactly what but when you consider that modern vehicles have 200-400 microchips in them and that these control many different systems and also understand what’s going on with shortages in the industry, it adds up.

Did anyone of you guys buy the prepaid warranty if yes how much did you pay for it. I opted out cos I think the price is ridiculous 9k.

 

I never do because I sell my vehicle before the original warranty ends, so there is no point for me.

 

You can always buy it later as long as the standard warranty is still in effect.

 

Mine was picked up last night and being delivered tonight.

Picking it up Wednesday since I have to drive 2hrs to get it and I'm busy tomorrow.

 

Mine left Germany today on the Marguerite Ace and is scheduled to arrive Brunswick on May 10. Hopefully it will arrive at my dealership by May 20 as long as the backlog in Brunswick is cleared up by then.
