TPMS

Does anyone know what TPMS are used in the 2021 G550?

I have searched the interwebs which resulted in multiple part numbers, further investigating shows they are meant for 2018 and prior model...

I just bought some new rims to put my winter tires on and not looking to spend 600.00 on OEM sensors.

If anyone has a link that would be great...can’t believe it is this hard to track these things down (actually, I can believe it).

Thanks in advance!

Did you check Tire Rack? I think they sell aftermarket sensors.

These are listed as MY2020 compatible, and might fit MY2021. If you have the MB p/n, you can call and ask. I can't vouch for the quality, but for $33/ea you can afford to buy new ones if they crap out. Manufacturers are slow to update their databases, and even when they do they seem to be wrong half the time. Parts that are supposed to fit don't, and parts that do fit are listed as incompatible. While you're waiting for the TPMSs to arrive, entertain yourself with trying to find a rear wiper from an aftermarket supplier.

The OEM TPMS are from Shrader with MB part # A0009052102. They run about $30-40 each.

Lol, ya, I have seen some threads on our awesome rear wiper.

Thanks, at the time of the post I wasn’t aware of the part number.

Thanks, I was messing around on their site, but entering it was giving multiple results (and I could t tell the difference between them). Then the results it posted said they worked through 2018 models.

Thank you, I ordered up a set.

To follow up on this, I ordered the below sensors and installed them on my summer wheel setup tonight.

Synced up to the car after a short drive and all is good.

Thanks for confirming p/n and compatibility. I've penciled this into my G notebook under "stuff that works". Did you post elsewhere the tire & wheel package you bought?

I hadn’t....

I picked up these OEM AMG rims on EBay and stuck my (Pirelli) stock tires on it for the summer.

I have these exact wheels that came off my G550 at delivery with the same Pirelli's on them including the TPMS and center caps as a set for sale if anyone is interested, send PM if interested.
