Wink Ordered the G350d Obsidian Black Metallic! How long it takes from build ?

Ordered the G350d Obsidian Black Metallic! This is what my config looks like. Im in India and the total bill amount was crazy 2,82,671 USD with the addons and taxes.
Now, they said,. the order is booked in march 2021. So, production date is June 2021. And delivery will be August 2021. Does, it really take that much time ?

How long it takes from build ?
And is there a way to track the process end to end ? Do MB give the access to the order tracking process ?

Man, sometimes I forget how lucky we Americans are when it comes to buying vehicles.

I agree. I just read that MB Australia just raised the G63 price by AUS $30k which is about $23k in the US because of “global demand”.

It now starts around US $225k.

Have you seen new car prices in Singapore? They're like insane! A civic is like 100k USD.

Just looked up how much the G63 is over there, so it starts at about 500k USD.

Congratulations on your order. I think the build is very similar to mine in the U.K. I love the car so much, it’s fantastic. There’s no way to track the build process that I’m aware of and the dealers are very little help from what I’ve seen and experienced.. This forum was able to provide me with way more information that what my dealer was able to give.

As for the prices - I think that the cost of vehicles in Turkey are huge too.

Thank you!
I see you have the g350d. What mileage do you get in regular comfort driving mode ?
And do you find the Active Multicontour Seat package useful enough ?

Good choice of color, I love mine in Obsidian Black. Seat Comfort Package is pretty useful. Though massage feature isn't very impressive (same as in LR RR) but overall it's helpful. It gives you support by grabbing sides of your body when cornering or being on bumpy roads. Good enough to impress your passenger. Good luck!

Indeed :-). I think we roughly get between 24 and 26mpg .. we are in a very hilly part of the country so I think you could get more than this in a flatter area.

The seats are amazing and I believe they are a MUST in a G class. They really do make a massive difference to just how plush the interior is.
the Massage function is pretty good and the heating works well even though it lowers the heat after a period of time. Mostly I enjoy the ventilation combined with heat it’s lovely.

Ok good, so I can expect atleast 10KM per liter of diesel That is good.
And I havent opted for the special EXCLUSIVE INTERIOR or GMANU INTERIOR.
I have selected the regular preset - MACHIATO BEIGE Interior only.

I read somewhere in this forum that, MB says only EXCLUSIVE and GMANU is Nappa leather, but the regular preset seat options are also NAPPA leather.
Is that true ?

Did you opt for special interior leather ?
