DIY Night Package?

DIY Night Package?
Hi guys,
So I'm about to order a G550. I know everyone is getting the AMG Line package but I'm trying to avoid it.
(I'd rather have the vehicle be 2inch narrower without the wide fender flares (my garage is a bit tight), I don't care about the AMG exhaust cause I intend to replace it anyway, and I think the 19in black wheels actually look pretty good...)
(I'm also thinking if I were to go for the AMG Package then maybe I should just go all the way and just get a G63... but heh that's just me lol. I think the wide fenders borrowed from the 63 without the large bumper from the 63 look a bit weird)
What bugs me is that it makes it impossible to get the Night Package. I was wondering which part of the Night Package could be replicated and at which cost? Has anybody tried?
Cheers

- Turn Signals: OEM only sells the whole part for $400. Maybe it's possible to tint or wrap the covers?
- Tail lights: mbparts doesn't seem to sell a nigh package specific version. But I don't care as much as for the turn signals.
- Head Light: Does any body has any close up picture or explanation of what is different to get that look? Is it easy or even possible to replicate? The headlight assembly is $5k so replacing it with the OEM part is out of question
- Brush Guard: Can easily be painted or powder coated (I'm leaning on removing it all together)
- Body parts: I'm planning to get a black car so doesn't make a difference
- Spare Wheel Cover: Can be ordered black without Night package for $1k.
Cheers

I don't think the night package changes the tail lights.
I also don't think the turn signals and headlights are worth the money and trouble to be honest. Just get the black spare wheel cover and powder coat the brush guard and that should be good enough. Also without the amg line you don't have to worry about changing the silver rear bumper bits to black.

If you want to check out another parts source, I found these guys. With the night package all exterior lights are different, including the taillights. As much as you would prefer the narrower width of the non AMG line vehicle, the night package is truly worth the cost.

GWagen Parts has the complete night package lighting available for the astronomical price of $12,650 US. Would be difficult to wrap the signal markers and taillights to match the night package pieces, and the headlights won’t happen either.

If your garage is so tight that 2" of body width is critical have you checked the vertical clearance? You don't want to be deflating your tires each time you park just to squeeze in (lol).

I did zero research on the night pack as I bought the only G I could find off the lot at the time and It had it. I am so glad it does. The headlights make a huge difference to me and the wider fender flares make the car what it is IMO. I would humbly suggest you try to make it work if at all possible.

Thanks for the input, was curious to collect thoughts!
Yeah height is not an issue (a couple inch clearance through the door haha)
Yeah this build looks so great! Congrats!

I love the 'narrow body' look a lot. These fenders are just right proportionately and true to the origins of the G, wish it was an option with the G63. The wide fenders of today is a result its popularity as an urban car + becoming AMG'd.
