New G63 Build / Feedback

Got an allocation from out of state at MSRP, July build and August delivery. Been waiting since September 2020.
See my build... Are the steering controls (driving modes) standard or it must be stated in the build? No options in the guide.
Any must have options missing from my build?

Steering wheel controls come standard if you don’t select heated steering wheel.

If you plan on doing something like a Brabus, Renntech or Wiestec tune, the speed limiter delete is an unnecessary cost.

The steering wheel controls are option code U88. Like Nik640 said it’ll be there by default.

Looks like you checked almost every box. Build looks good.

The speed delimiter really is unnecessary in my mind. The price difference between $178k and $180k is minuscule, but we don’t get to where we are by routinely wasting money . I understand though some people just like optioning everything and nothing wrong with that!

I opted for the delimiter on my MY 2019 build and its a waste on money. No way you will drive your G that fast safely.
It adds zero change to the engine output.
A heated steering wheel is a must, no matter where your reside, for those chilly AM drives.

I would loose the delimiter and add the leather grab handles.

Heated steering wheel is not necessary down here, had few cars with the option and never used it. I will probably never hit 149mph with the G, but still prefer speed limiter removed lol

Any insight to the wireless charging and wireless CarPlay? Some of the members did not have either of the options...

Wireless CarPlay right now only available with third party options. There’s a thread about it.

2021 are supposed to come with wireless charging but to my knowledge none of us with 2021s in the US have received it.

I doubt it but you never know. Kept my last G for 4 years, sold it due to interior making too much rattling noises. Hope that has changed with the new design.

My speakers rattle all the time lol.. Great build. Heated steering wheel on AMG dinamica/cf sucks because heat doesn't go around carbon fiber area, only on suede part. But still I'd add heated steering wheel.. Because IMO $180K car should have this option. Drive unit knob looks cool but another switch is always there when you need it.
