Any leads for G63 for MSRP~15K over MSRP?
Hey everyone,
So, I got screwed over by a dealer that had agreed to sell to me for MSRP back in October. After 6 months of constant communication, they basically said there was no car for me out of the blue. Now I'm back to square one after wasting months. I understand that the market is even hotter now than just 6 months ago so I know finding one for MSRP will be difficult. I'm hoping that someone may have some leads for a G63 with Night Package between MSRP and 15K over.

Okay gotcha. I misspoke earlier I meant to say November delivery. I was thinking September allocation would be January delivery.

I do not mind waiting at all as the dealers in my area are all asking ridiculous amounts over MSRP.

Is there a rule that we're not allowed to name dealerships on the forum? So many threads about dealers doing the wrong thing. If there are no repercussiions, then its only going to keep happening. I daresay a large majority of G owners/prospective buyers read forums like this to make decisions. If MB realizes the crap these dealers are pulling is actually affecting sales, they might put an end to the price gouging.

What probably happened was that your build slot was given to some one who was willing to pay more MSRP. Did you have a PO number with your name on the order form or was the order form with the dealers info? The contract as I found out is non-binding, so the communication back and forth really means nothing, its just business and with limited supply they are just trying to make the most buck for their time. Your options would of either been building a 'relationship' with the dealership over a long time, with multiple purchases. Or Agree to pay more over MSRP. Either way your best bet is to place an order simultaneously with 3-4 different dealerships and see which one does you right for the budget you have set.
Im thinking we need to build a site that lists all dealers and their asks over MSRP. Keep them honest, and keep people in the know with what dealers do. But yeah, good luck getting any one under MSRP.
