Rear Climate Control “1/2 Sync”
When I have the “sync” turned on & HVAC on “Auto,” the rear air flow adjusts to match the front speed (as expected).
However, if for instance, I manually decrease the main fan speed (in today’s case I turned it down as I received a call and didn’t want all of the background noise) the rear fan still stays on the previous setting. I have to reach my hand back and manually adjust the fan speed…?
It was about 90 today, so when I hit “auto” the hvac fan was cranking away at a very high speed….decreased the fan speed (manually) and the rear was still blowing high…??
Is this normal? Am I missing something? Is this just another “Mercedes quirk?”
Thanks in advance.

Mine is the same way. I have Sync checked and turn on the A/C via auto. When I click off the A/C and move the fan speed with the toggle to remove the auto, the rear air flow remains on 4 or 5 and is relatively noisy. I go into the menu and adjust it down.
