New China Blue G63 on the water
Great news just came in and my G63 is on the water and in route due in port 29th!
Super stoked on this build as I have stepped out of my comfort zone on the color, which is typically black, white or some sort of silver/grey. I went with China Blue after seeing it in person.
Spec highlights
Manufaktur China Blue ( horrible name )
DC1 Night Package
DD5 manufaktur Interior Plus - AMG Nappa leather black / diamond stitch/ comfort seat / leather grab handles
VA1 black flame open pore ash trim
Red brake calipers
22" forged AMG crossspoke
AMG performance steering wheel - heated
etc.. etc,,
Paid MSRP!!!!
hopefully some photos to come sooner than later, we'll see how the long beach circus goes

It is surprising that in the midst of current elevated sensitivity about such matters that anyone would designate a color with this moniker. Some now find even color names (red, yellow, etc) derogatory and offensive. To be safe, refer to your truck's palette as Pantone 18-3918 TCX when referencing it.

As a USA only manufacturer of multi-patented products, which get knocked off consistently by overseas ( and domestic) companies, I can see where you are coming from... With that said, a color is a color and no matter what the marketing dept names it. Also, don't kid yourself.. MB products source many of their components outside of Germany... I may just refer to it as "Baller Blue"

Very true.... I think the connotation of 'china' relates to not ringing of 'quality' and the fact that for the most part, they as a country have total disregard for the intellectual property of others.
