new G owner

Howdy all - finally joined the club and picked up my '21 G550 last week. I've wanted a G for a long time and it finally came to fruition. I've owned many vehicles and this one is truly special. I'm coming from the Land Cruiser world and will definitely use this rig as it was intended

Anyway, here's the config along with a few photos after throwing some BFG's on. Glad to be here and part of the community!

Night Black Magno with red/black Nappa leather
Night package
AMG line
Adaptive suspension
Comfort seats
Carbon fiber

Congrats! Looks awesome. The BFGs look great with the R16 wheels, too.

Looks great, what is the size of the BFG?
I am looking for info on the max wheel size (32"?) without rubs, need to lift suspensions or reset speedometer and min rim size! Anyone fitted a 17 inches rim on the W463a?

Thanks for all the replies!

I put 275/55/20 BFG's; no rubbing or issues at all. I need all terrain tires but as we all know they don't many options in stock size. These are slightly taller but don't require spacers or any other modifications to fit without a problem. I've gotten more compliments on the way the tires look than anything else about the vehicle

Congratulations! I did the same as you and get the same comments about the tires. Now you need a matching spare.

Thanks! And wow, great looking G you have there! I love the spare tire carrier; where did you get it?

That’s the LeTech tire holder, I bought it at gwagenparts.

Looks awesome... did you drive it long enough before the tire swap to get an idea of how much road noise you added with the tires?

On mine it was not louder just a little bit stiffer.

Same for me; no noticeable road noise but slightly stiffer. Personally I think the tradeoff is worth it to have all terrain tires on
