G63 Issues Fixed!

Hi Everyone - it only took 1 day but the main issues with the G63 (mine included) were fixed and what a difference! I dropped the car off in the AM and picked up end of day

1st - squeaky brakes - replaced with new brakes from MB (new versions) and no more noise… sounds awesome… they said they have a waiting list of G63 owners looking to replace with new versions… no cost!

2nd - door latch recall - both rear doors fixed and doors open and close much easier… and don't get stuck when we try to open… and dealer said the alarm shouldn't go off randomly anymore when doors are locked…

lets see! everyone should do above.

Thanks for the update. Did the door latch recall a few weeks ago but never had an issue before.

Brakes are fine so far, maybe squeak every now and then. Regardless it's a good way to get a free brake replacement. I assume they only change the pads and leave rotors alone?

Good to see some more confirmation of this. I had the alarm go off once before I got the latches fixed, never since then.

No squeaky brakes and rear doors are fine...I would rather avoid the dealer for non-issues.
