I seem to be wasting time googling AMG tuners only to speak to individuals who would love to play with the G but have zero experience. Do any of you know of a reputable AMG tuner in this tri-state area who actually does AMG performance mods?

 

RENNTech seems to be the go-to here. Just order it online and apply the mod yourself. Can't speak for it myself as I'm not into ECU tuners but search the forum and you will see how others feel about it...

 

Appreciate the feedback TonyGwagon, but also having the Acropovic Titanium Exhaust installed at the same time and want to make sure it is tuned correctly. I understand both as standalones are straight forward installs, just not confident when combined that it does not require any tweaking.

 

Maybe try asking Akrapovič if their exhaust is compatible with self tuners?

 

The exhaust will no effect on the tuning - a high-flow exhaust is just that, and Akras are not any different (except the price and diminished quality compared to years ago...still good though).
