So one of trim from the back of my wagon fell off, So i bought new ones and now im trying to figure out how they are installed cause it doesnt make sense. Maybe someone in here can help me.
Given the holes in the bumper compared to the trim piece you got, I'd say there is a missing piece. Like a bracket that attaches to the bumper, and then that piece you have snaps onto it. Don't know that for sure, just guessing based on the clips on the back of the piece you have in your hand.

Can you tell how the outside piece clips to the part that actually fastens to the bumper? I’d like to know how to get those caps off to paint them without tearing the mounting part out of the bumper.
