Placed order of G63 in July 2020, still don't have any news or allocation.
I'm in Ontario. Is this normal?

Did you ever ask how many buyers were in front of you before assuming you were next?

 

bought my G550 from mercedes markham. wait time was 1.5 years. keep in mind its a 550, the waiting lists for a 63 are usually longer. so to answer your question - yes its normal.

 

Ask for someone to run your VIN through Netstar for the most up-to-date status.

 

he probably doesnt have a VIN yet if he hasnt gotten updates from the dealer.

My dealer in Ontario said 1.5-2 years for a g63. 1-1.5 years for a 550. I as lucky and jumped on a September build when someone cancelled it.

 

With the 2022 amg models not being produced I'd be surprised if the wait time isn't 3-4 years.

Just called the dealer; He said that I won't be able to get an allocation in 2021.

I placed order in July 2020.

Bought a GLS a few years ago.

 

Once again, it costs a dealer nothing to take an order for a vehicle whose production and delivery is nothing more than crap shoot.

 

i placed my order for a new G63 at the same time has you in Montreal.
its a 2 year waiting list. I was rank 53 in line at my dealership.
i bought my 2018 G63 from them.

with the 2022 being stopped. We lose 1 year. I guess i’ll have a 2024 model

 

I was invited to place an order for a G63 last month. Refundable Deposit and all done. They said it will be a 2024 model.

 

Buying a G is now "by invitation only"? Do you need letters of referral from 3 other G owners in good standing too? (Lol)

An endorsement from me will get you kicked to the end of the line best case, or get you kicked out of the dealership worst case (lol).
